I am very excited to be teaching Art to 5/6, 6/7 and 7/8 students at Eagle School. I love the creative process and working with students of all ages to help them develop their own unique ideas and style.  Within the art classroom I strive to build an environment where all students can be successful.   Challenging students to think, interpret, apply and infuse their art education within other academic areas helps students to see and view important connections in their whole education.  Learning through art assists us to be thinkers, life-long learners and problem solvers.  I know that Art Education develops artistic and cultural awareness, imagination, perception and skill, but it also fosters creativity, self-expression, confidence and self-discipline.  Creative problem solving is a vital part of being a life-long learner.

My website will be utilized to post information about the art program, art lessons and to post photographs of student work. and is also posted on Thinkwave.  In addition, the Artsonia.com will be available for students and families to view artwork, and perhaps order their artwork on a variety of products offered by Artsonia.  A portion of the proceeds from Artsonia come back to our school in the way of funds to purchase supplies for the Eagle School Art Program.

The following pages contain general information for all 5/6, 6/7 and 7/8 students, on my blog page you will find up to date information and photos.
