Spheres of the Season 6/7 - 2016/17

December was a natural time of year to create a still life of spheres. We used ornaments to create a composition of light and shadows. The medium of colored pencil added the challenge of adding value by altering the pressure for the lights and darks of the spheres.variety Cross-hatching and stippling techniques were added with sharpie markers to accentuate the values and shading.
