6/7 Op Art Color Wheel - 2016/17

6/7 Students created an Op Art color wheel with colored pencil and china marker for shading. Color theory teaches us that the 3 primary colors mixed together create the 3 secondary colors. Continuing with this method of mixing colors, the intermediate colors, also known as tertiary colors, are created by mixing primaries with secondaries. This 12 color wheel was made into an optical illusion drawing by shading in the sections to give the drawings the illusion of depth
