5/6 Watercolor Animals - 2017/18

5/6 students connected LA/SS/D with art with their watercolor animal paintings. Some students chose the same animal for both content areas, others chose to draw and paint a different animal. Watercolor samplers were made in order to learn a variety of techniques. From sgraffito to "wet on wet" and dry brush to resist, many of the techniques were then applied to their animal paintings. A portion of the proceeds come back to EAGLE School in the form of funds for the Eagle art curriculum.
