5/6 Wayne Thiebaud inspired Dessert Paintings - 2017/18

Wayne Thiebaud is an American Pop Artist. He began his art career by designing stage designs. He also made posters for the lobby of the theater where he worked. His interest in painting desserts began with his interest in consumer products. He painted pies and cakes as seen in store windows.with his experience in stage design and lighting. 5/6 students each chose a dessert to paint in acrylics in Thiebaud's style.
