6/7 Glue and Hue Watercolor Flowers 2018/19

Observational drawing using a reference photo was the method to create an enlargement of a flower. The contours were outlined in white glue. Contrasting watercolor wash was added to the flower and the background with the intent to created variation in hue. After outlining each variation in color, the paintings have a crackled appearance.
