7/8 Broken Glass Inventive Insects 2019/10

Drawing from a reference photo, students enlarged an image of an insect on canvas. Shattered glass lines were drawn over the entire canvas in triangular shapes. Two different color schemes were chosen, one for the background and the other for the insect. The challenge was to change color tones every time a line intersected the insect or background. Color mixing to achieve tints and shades occurred to achieve enough variations .
