5/6 Norman Conquest Knights, Royalty & Common People 2019/10

5/6 students learned about the Norman Conquest in their LA/SS/D class. In art we integrated this period in history by creating paper mache' and mixed media sculptures. Students created a variety of people from the era including; knights, common people and royalty. The knights replicate the gestures of battle with action poses, weapons and shields while the common people are carrying baskets and brooms etc.
