7/8 Clay Fairy Houses - 2019/20

7/8 students created their own unique versions of fairy houses. Clay slabs were rolled out, forms were made in a number of different ways. Some chose to drape the slab over a bowl or cylinder. Others used the pinch pot method to form the structure. Thatched roofs, cone shaped roofs, mushroom shapes, plants, stones and grass were just some of the textures and shapes that were added. Glazes added the rich color to the structures. What imaginations!
